An Edward VIII sterling silver small salver, Sheffield 1936 by George Howson

in the George II style, of shaped circular form with a shaped cavetto edge, raised on three scroll feet. The otherwise plain field engraved to the centre with a winged lion statant above St Marks. The reverse of salver with engraved presentation inscription reading “To Nurse James from The Medical Staff in appreciation of the many years of wonderful work at St Mark’s Hospital 1926-62”. Fully marked to reverse.
