A LATE 18TH CENTURY LOUIS XVI FRENCH GOLD MOUNTED TORTOISESHELL SNUFF BOX, CIRCA 1780
circular form with lacquered sides, the lid with later inset enamel plaque. Gold mounts loose but present. Together with a silver ink blotter, a modern Egyptian silver paper knife formed as an ankh and a George VI silver miniature inkstand in the George I style, London 1938 by JCL, incomplete, with two unmarked miniature candlesticks.
