Opaque pigments and gold on paper, the vertical composition depicting a crowded gathering for Shiva and Parvati's wedding, the couple portrayed seated on a caparisoned throne under a red palanquin in the centre of the scene, surrounded by other Hindu gods like Brahma and Ganesha, and many other guests, both human, animal, and mythical, set within white and yellow rules, and dark blue and red borders, the reverse with a black and gold plasticised sheet with an inventory sticker numbered 9, 26.5cm x 20cm.
