A mid-20th century Iranian (Persian) unmarked silver fruit bowl or stand, Tabriz circa 1940
Pahlavi dynasty, of shaped circular form upon 3 folded feet. The dished section with an edged formed of repeating arched wedges with pierced fan sections in between. The centre with an engraved ghalam zani roundel of a cluster of roses and other flowers, encircled with a geometric band. The edge sections with alternating engraved floral decoration and geometric pattern.
