The workshop of Fadavi was evidently quite prolific and appears to have spanned a period just before WWII and into the 1960’s. This piece has an earlier style of decoration than the Isfahan style which had become de rigueur by the middle of the 20th century for numerous workshops, utilising long tailed birds, arabesques and peonies etc.
