Pahlavi Iran, ca. 1930s - 1940s
Of circular shape, with a short and everted rim, the cavetto worked in a lobed floral form, the interior finely engraved with a multitude of concentric decorative bands featuring interlocking vegetal sprays, knotwork, lush floral blooms including rosettes and lotus flowers, and wild foliage, 86cm diam.
