A GILT AND ENGRAVED DARK GREEN CLEAR-GLASS ROSEWATER SPRINKLER

Beykoz, Ottoman Turkey, mid to late 19th century
Of pyriform shape, resting on a small splayed circular foot and rising to a gently tapered neck with circular mouth, the lower part of the body engraved with three gilt leafy floral motifs, a thin vegetal band wrapped around the neck, inside the neck screw threads suggesting an original screw fit stopper now missing, 20.5cm high.
