A large late 20th century Italian 800 standard silver covered twin handled punch bowl on stand, Milan circa 1980 by Carmelo and Giuseppe Mordandino Ganci
The vase of dished circular form with a rope twist edge, the centre with embossed decoration of rocaille a lobed sections. The punch bowl of compressed circular form upon a domed foot, the cast double C scroll handles with acanthus junctions. He body and domed lid similarly embossed; the lid surmounted by a finial of a pear. Each marked for Milan, maker 110.
