A TURQUOISE GLAZED POTTERY JUG WITH IRIDESCENCE
Kashan, Persia, 13th century
Of globular shape, resting on a short, splayed, unglazed foot rising to broad shoulders, a wide waist, and a slightly tapering cylindrical neck, with an applied curved handle on the side, with thumb rest, the turquoise-glazed exterior shows iridescence, 21.5cm high.
