NOTE:

The form of this bowl closely resembles the shufu wares of the Yuan Dynasty, with a short foot supported a flat plateau that rises to deep, flared sides, although the glaze is typical of qingbai wares in its translucency.

See a shufu bowl with a similar construction offered at Christie's New York, 14th - 15th September 2017, lot 1174, and another in the same rooms, 25th March 2022, lot 1037. Sotheby's Hong Kong also offered a similarly-structured bowl, 27th November 2020, lot 329.

The British Museum holds a similar bowl in the collection, no. PDF,A.455.

Estimated at £400 - £600
