An early 20^th century Syrian gold inlaid unmarked silver six-piece Turkish coffee set, Damascus circa 1920

Comprising three cup bases, a milk/water jug, sugar basin / bowl and an incense burner/bean warmer. Each of rounded form with finely engraved decoration of arabesque panels and cartouches, inlaid with gold calligraphic areas, the burner formed as an onion dome surmounted by a crescent, the lid with pierced decoration behind calligraphic inlay. Together with a further gold inlaid onion dome incense burner and an engraved silver milk/water jug, with similar decoration. (8)
