A mid -20th century Persian (Iranian) silver square tray, Isfahan circa 1950 mark of Bireae
Pahlavi dynasty. Of square form with re-entrant corners, with an ovolo edge and moulded rim. Decorated with engraved ghalam zani of a central medallion with peony cartouches flanked by long tailed birds, all reserved with foliage and a ring punched ground. The ovolo edge with trailing rosettes. Marked underneath with standard mark (۸۴), and workshop mark بیریائی.
