A mid-20th century Persian (Iranian) silver footed fruit bowl, Isfahan circa 1950
Pahlavi dynasty. Of octo-lobed form upon a short octagonal foot. The body with embossed vignettes of with chased monabbat-kari and engraved ghalam zani decoration of peonies, reserved with arabesque vignettes and long tailed birds, the centre with an arabesque medallion. Marked underneath with town mark, standard mark (84) and an obscured workshop mark.
