Heuss (Theodor)

Heuss (Theodor)

Typed letter signed ('Theodor Heuss') to a Dr. Weil, in German, translation reading in part "Perhaps I may send you a speech from six years ago which I gave in Stuttgart shortly after taking up the office of Minister of Culture. Even then I tried to pay a special tribute in a few words to our fellow countrymen Eugen Bolz, Otto Hirsch and Fritz Elsas. I have frequently received letters from Hans Georg Hirsch. He seems to be making his way professionally and to be also happily married. In one of his letters he complained that none of his sisters were married", one page, some creasing, 4to, Bonn, 29 October 1951.

Estimated at £100 - £150
