An Edwardian sterling silver tea caddy, London 1902 by Charles Stuart Harris
In the George IV manner, of compressed oval form, raised on four paw and anthemion scroll bracket feet, the body with fluted decoration, a vacant cartouche to each side. The hinged domed lid with a die-cast flower head and trailing leaves rim, the fluted centre surmounted by a pyriform finial. Fully marked to reverse, part-marked to lid.
