A PAIR OF WEMYSS WARE POTTERY VASES, 20TH CENTURY, each of tapering cylindrical form, decorated with black cockerels and hens, the flared rims with a green border, together with a Wemyss ware twin handled 'Pagoda' low tyg, decorated with black cockerels and hens, with impressed mark 'WEMYSS WARE/ R. H. & S.' to base (3)

Provenance: The following pieces are part of the collection of Iris Fox (1913-1992), one of the principal collectors of Wemyss Ware. After her death in 1992, part of the collection was donated to the Newport Museum, whilst the remaining items were auctioned at Sotheby’s Edinburgh, in the single owner sale ‘The Iris Fox Collection’, 7-8th November 1994.
