A BIRD-SHAPED BRONZE DECORATIVE ELEMENT AND A BRONZE OIL LAMP
Possibly Southern Anatolia and Iran, 12th - 13th century and later
Comprising a small bronze openwork decorative element in the shape of a bird, standing on two feet with three claws each, possibly once used as an incense burner, 11.5cm x 17.2cm; and a bronze oil lamp, of compressed globular shape, resting on a tall conical foot, with a long curved spout to the side, with a hinged dome-shaped lid and two small rectangular handles on both sides, 10.2cm x 14cm.
