An early 18th century Italian silver jug, Venice circa 1720

Of baluster form with a wrought C scroll handle leading to a hinged domed lid surmounted by a wrythen finial. Engraved with initials underneath S:M in Roman script. Marked underneath with Zecca assay mark M.P, circa 1682-1736 (Pazzi N.581) thrice.
