An early 20th century French 950 standard silver bachelor coffee pot (verseuse égoiste), Paris circa 1910 by Tétard Frères (reg. 19th Feb 1903)
Of pain rounded form with a fluted short spout opposite a wooden D section handle with circular rosette junctions, the hinged domed lid surmounted by artichoke finials. Engraved to the side with an impaled coat of arms with the motto In Virtute Vig, all surmounted by a count’s coronet. Together with another example, Paris circa 1900 by A Risler & Carre (active 1897-1912), baluster form with embossed strap work to the base. (2)
