A late 19th century Ottoman Turkish provincial silver bowl, possibly Bitlis circa 1890 mark of Isaac
Of hemispherical form with an engine turned corded rim, the centre with a detachable winged dove atop of a leaf calyx. The underside marked in Arabic in a heat shaped punch Amal’e Isaac (the work of Isaac).
Diameter – 14.3 cm / 5.5 inches
Weight – 250 grams / 8.04 ozt
