A Queen Anne Britannia standard silver table spoon, London circa 1705 by John Broake (reg. 8th July 1699)
Dog Nose pattern, oval bowl with rat tail, the terminal later engraved with a 19th century crest of an eagle rising, in its beak an escutcheon pendent by a ribbon, thereon a hank of cotton, with the motto above Multa Tuli Fecique. Fully marked.
