A Nicholas I mid-19th century Russian 84 zolotnik parcel gilt silver and niello goblet, Moscow 1841 by TT (untraced)
Of campana form with spreading circular detachable foot. The body with a nielloed scene of the gates and walls of the Alexander garden with Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, against a textured gilt ground, all above a band of rocaille C scrolls. The foot with a band of rosettes. Marked underneath for assay master Andrei Antonovich Kovalsky (active 1822-56), also marked to the rims.
