A LARGE CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE BEAKER VASE, GU

Qing Dynasty, Kangxi Period

清康熙 青花博古圖紋大花觚

The vase finely potted in archaic gu form, the raised mid-section with two cartouches depicting various objects/treasures, reserved on a ground of fish scale pattern between borders also decorated with fish scale pattern and shou-characters, the trumpet neck and also the flared base decorated with stylised leaf lappets decorated with various patterns, the base with a double circle in underglaze blue.
