A KHORASSANI COPPER-INLAID BRASS VASE North-Eastern Iran, 12th - 13th century Of pyriform shape, on high domed foot, the body worked with honey-comb design, incised with roundels of interlaced strapwork, knots and arabesques, copper-inlaid, pierced scrolling on the upper part of the body, on the neck, mouth and foot continuous benedictory calligraphic bands in Eastern Kufic script, 28.6cm high.
