An early Victorian antique sterling silver coaster, London 1841, maker’s mark obscured probably that of Edward, Edward junior, John & William Barnard Of circular form with pierced open-work sides and a mahogany base, engraved with a crest of lion rampant erect. Together with a sauceboat, Birmingham 1911 by Williams Ltd, in the 18th century taste with embossed and matted decoration of animals and floral motifs/ Both fully marked. (2) Diameter – 13.5 cm / 5.25 inches Weighable weight – 191 grams / 6.15 ozt
