A MONOCHROME BROWN-GLAZED POTTERY VASE
Iran, 17th - 18th century
Of typical compressed globular shape, resting on a short circular foot, rising to a later-added flared copper alloy mount engraved with figural roundels and vegetal motifs, the body covered in monochrome brown glaze and enhanced with moulded purple-glazed rosettes around the shoulders, 13.2cm high.
