Opaque pigments and gold on glass, the vertical composition depicting a heavily bejewelled lady, dressed in courtly Qajar fashion with an encrusted aigrette, holding a wine cup and an apple, framed within a golden oval medallion embellished with rosettes, beads and floral decorations, framed, 47.5cm x 27.5cm including the frame.
