A late 19th / early 20th century Japanese silver tea caddy, Yokohama circa 1900
Meiji period. Of cylindrical form with a pull off cap. The sides with embossed iris patten against a spot hammered ground. The interior with a pull-out plug. Makers mark underneath and jungin mark with 1000.
