A late 17th century German (Polish) silver spoon, Breslau circa 1690 by Gottfried Heintze (master 1673, d. 1707)
Cast Baroque terminal with female mask, faceted stem, the junction between bowl and stem also cast as a female mask. The reverse of fig shaped bowl engraved with traces of a coat of arms of a sheaf of arrows, all within mantling above a wreath encircling traces of a crest of an arm embowed holding a scimitar above initials I S over B. Marked to reverse of bowl with assay scrape, town mark and makers mark GH in an oval (Rosenberg 1426).

The arms are seemingly those of the Skoropadsky family
A prominent figure of this family at the time was Ivan Skoropadsky (1646 – 1722) a Ukrainian Hetman of Zaporizhian Host.
