An exquisitely hand-coloured sixth plate daguerreotype of a young girl in a green dress, with red necklace and in front of a rich blue cloud backdrop, in a plain gilt matt with rectangular arched aperture, and maroon leather side-hinged case, and Beard's Photographic Institution embossed gilt stamp on the verso.
