A week in Venice for two

Escape to the joys of Venice and indulge in a week away in this wonderfully light filled 2nd floor apartment with a view of the canal, and sunny terrace situated in the unspoilt area of Santa Croce, two minutes’ walk from Campo San Giacomo del Orio.

On your doorstep is St Mark’s Cathedral, the Doge's Palace and the Rialto Bridge with its famous fish, vegetable and fruit market all within easy reach, either by vaporetto (five minutes’ walk) or take your time and get there on foot. There is a wonderful baker, a fabled organic gelateria, a greengrocer, newsagent, wine store and good supermarket all close by. Excellent local restaurants are also within a few minutes’ walk of the flat.

The Young family say: This welcoming flat has been enjoyed by so many of our friends over 20 years. It is in a delightful area where Venetian families still live, yet it is still close to all the famous sights without being in a tourist area.
