An early 20th century Iraqi silver and niello jar or tea caddy, circa 1930 signed Omara Salih
Of cylindrical form with a domed lid. The sides with a nielloed scene of the Taq Kasra (Ruins of Ctesiphon), with river scenes of dhow sailing boats, a boatman in a gufa. The lid with a camel and rider, facing toward the viewer, his shadow behind him. Signed to the side صالح عماره (Omara, Salih).
