A late 19th Ottoman Turkish 900 standard parcel gilt silver spoon warmer, with Tughra of Sultan Abdul Hamid II (1876-1909)
Of hexa-lobed form with pierced decoration of quatrefoil tracery with florettes and foliate C scrolls interspaced with beaded arabesques, the detachable similarly formed. With a removable gilt liner of conforming shape. Marked to base, liner and foot with sahh and tughra marks, additional sahh mark to top of rim, assay scrapes to underside of base, three to lower lobes of main body and side of liner.
