THREE LACQUERED PAPIER-MÂCHÉ CASES Deccan, Central India, late 19th - 20th century Comprising two small rectangular spectacles cases, both with raised decoration to the front with peacocks and birds amidst floral tendrils on either a white or green background, the back with gold vegetal scrollwork against red ground, the longest 15cm long; and a small pen case (qalamdan) with basic floral and vegetal decoration, the underside and inner tray painted in black, 13.5cm long.
