An early 20th century Chinese Export silver three-piece tea service, Shanghai circa 1910 retailed by Qi Chang
Qing dynasty, comprising a teapot, a milk jug, and a twin handled sugar bowl. Each pf rounded circular form with a quarter fluted lower section. The teapot with a bamboo form spout opposite a bamboo form handle inset with ivory insulators. The hinged domed lid surmounted by a bamboo form finial atop of an engraved bamboo calyx. The bodies with embossed decoration of peonies, each with a vacant circular cartouche. The milk and sugar with gilt interiors. Each marked underneath with retailer’s mark QI CHANG 其昌 and with artisan mark SHANG 尚. (3)

Weight – 835 grams / 26.85 ozt
