A mid-20th century Iraqi silver cruet set on tray, Omara or Basra circa 1950
The tray of rectangular form with canted corners, engraved with the tomb of Ezra, the lion of Babylon, dhow sailing boats and boatman in mashoof. The cruet comprising a salt with spoon, mustard pot with spoon, and a pepper pot, each of tapering conical form, the mustard pot lid engraved with the grand mosque of samarra. (6)
