A GOLD-DAMASCENED (KOFTGARI) FOOTED BOX India, 19th century  Of rectangular form, on four ridged feet, with raised lid and everted rim, the sides and lid decorated with gilt floriated and foliated scrolls, the top of the lid presenting a movable duck decorated with the same gold-damascened scroll design, the interior with green velvet lining possibly added later, 15 x 14cm.
