Autograph album featuring signatures by various British politicians and historical figures from the 20th century, including: Winston Churchill (signature on the same page as Sir David Maxwell Fyfe), Edmund Hillary (two signatures, one individual and one on he same page as John Hunt and Alfred Gregory), Arthur Blenkinsop, Joseph Kenworthy, Lewis John Edwards, Alfred Barnes, Wilfred Paling, Arthur Creech Jones, David Quibell, James Dale Cassels, Frank Bowles, Arthur Henderson, Philip John Noel-Baker and others, light soiling, brown faux-leather, small 8vo, c. 1949-1955.

PROVENANCE: signatures were obtained by William Dobbie C.B.E., alderman of York and MP for Rotherham between 1933 and 1950. He was the godfather of the vendor's mother.
