A late 19th century Chinese export silver comport or tazza, Wuhu circa 1890, marked Bao Qing
Qing dynasty. Of dished scalloped form with a moulded edge upon a spreading trumpet foot of eight panels, with a central fluted knop. The dished section with flat chased decoration of peonies and tendrils edged with a scroll work border. The foot with flat chased decoration of stylised leafy forms. Marked underneath with 蕪湖 (WUHU) over 寶慶 (BAO QING).
