A large Victorian antique sterling silver table snuff box, London 1866 by Edward & John Barnard Of rectangular form with, the lid with central cast coat of arms against a scallop shell with motto ‘Spes Super Sydera’, bordered in a cast foilate rim. Decorated with basket-weave engine turning throughout. Gilt interior, fully marked to the outside base and part marked to the lid.
