TWO ARAB COFFEE POTS (DALLAH)
Bahrain and Oman, Arab Gulf, first half of 20th century
Each of typical pyriform shape, resting on a plain circular base, with a tapering everted body surmounted by a hinged dome-like lid, the characteristic curved beak-shaped spout and a sinuous handle featuring on each side, one coffee pot made of brass and stamped twice around the neck, the latter made of low-grade silver, unmarked, the largest 25cm high and the smallest 13.6cm high.
