AN EARLY 18TH CENTURY QUEEN ANNE PERIOD HAND COLOURED ENGRAVING OF KENSINGTON PALACE showing a view of the palace, the landscaped gardens and hills to the background, with a four angels in the sky holding aloft a banner titled 'Her Majesties Royal Palace at Kensington', inscribed below 'To her most serene and most sacred Majesty Anne by ye Grace of God Queen of Great Britain, France & Ireland' and '6 of 7', in a later gilt and ebonised frame, 93cm wide x 59cm high This engraving can be dated to between 1707 when England and Scotland united to become Great Britain, and 1714 when Queen Anne died.
