A 19th century Russian silver and niello cigarette case, Moscow 1859-1894, assay master Victor Savinsky, maker’s mark illegible Of rectangular form with rounded corners, the lid with a niello depiction of the Kremlin surrounded by flowers, the reverse with a vacant cartouche, with sprung hinge. Length – 5.4 inches Weight – 191 grams/6.1 ozt
