Anne Marie Hall was born in 1945 in Melbourne and married fellow artist John Perceval in 1972. She is best known for her abstract landscapes and figurative compositions. Her marriage initiated her into the Heide Circle of Australian artist's, many of whom where best known for modernist painting, including Charles Blackman and Arthur Boyd, among others.
