A late 20^th century Thai silver cigarette box, Bangkok circa 1986

Of stepped rectangular form, the hinged lid with an embossed three headed elephant (Erawan) reserved with foliate scrolls. Faux wooden interior, with plaque with presentation inscription “Presented to H.E Mr. H.A.J. Staples for your cooperation to ONCB Police MAJ. GEN. Chavalit Yodmani, Bangkok, Thailand, 15 January 1986”. Marked Sterling underneath.
