Arabic manuscript on paper, each with 9ll. of thuluth script to the folio, including the opening to sura At Tawbah (9), the chapter heading in gold on black with dark green scrolling motifs and red highlights, gold verse markers, red intonation marks, gold and cobalt blue marginal marks, in gold and blue rules, the text panel 24cm x 18cm, the folio 27.2cm x 22.3m; and another, similar, including the chapter heading for sura Al Hud (11), the chapter heading in gold on cobalt blue ground; and another, similar, including the chapter heading for sura Al A’raf (17), the heading in gold on red and green scrolling ground.
