REPAIRING THE HULL OF THE GRAF ZEPPELIN DURING THE FLIGHT OVER THE ATLANTIC, 1934. Silver gelatin print, printed 1960s, image size 240 x 340mm, sheet size 280 x 355mm, annotated 'Masterprint' by the photographer in ink, with the photographer's stamp verso.
As indicated by Eisenstaedt's hand on the verso, this print was likely used in the production of a limited edition [/50] which was released to coincide with his 1976 exhibition at Knoedler Gallery, NY, titled 'Alfred Eisenstaedt: The First Fifty Years.'
