A LARGE AMAZONIAN SHIPIBO VESSEL Circa mid 20th Century The carinated body, tapers to the flat foot, with a bulging shoulder, surmounted by a cylindrical neck with an everted rim, the shoulder and neck of the vessel decorated with intricate geometric patterns in black and red slip on a white ground, the neck with a typical stylised face in slight relief, with small black eyes, a linear mouth, 53.5cm high.  Provenance: Property from a US estate.
