An early to mid- 19th Century Indian Colonial silver box and cover, Calcutta 1828-1842 by Pittar and Company

Of plain cylindrical form, with gently domed pull off cover. Marked underneath with makers mark, lion passant, a Roman A and an incuse tally mark, the lid unmarked.

Weight – 47 grams / 1.51 ozt
