A set of mid-20th century Persian (Iranian) silver shot cups on tray, Isfahan circa 1970 by Seyyed Hassan Jouzdani (b.1928, d.c. 2022)
Pahlavi dynasty. Comprising six cups, each of tapering cylindrical form and a tray of rectangular form with canted corners. The stray with chased monabbat-kari decoration of peony vignettes reserved with arabesques. The cups with similarly engraved ghalam zani decoration. The tray marked to the field edge with mark جوزدانی, town mark of Isfahan, standard mark 84, assay mark (1969-79), the cups similarly marked. (7)
